@Garrett, I'd like to know more about your split. Is it a 2-way split or something else? Do you do legs one day, upper body the next. Give me some details and I can help you better. In Hardgainer's Manifesto, I prescribe a 2-way, 3-day split; you can easily incorporate the breathing squat program each training day because it's focusing on a different set of muscle fibers PLUS it's also working on expanding your rib cage (superset with the pullovers) PLUS your hormone levels will go through the roof because of all the muscle stimulation.

In fact, I'd suggest you stick with your current leg day and add the breathing squats to your other days. If that works, try adding the breathing squats to your leg day (at the end) and if you're still making gains -- GREAT! If you gains slow or stop, take them out on leg day.

Hope this helps.

I am in the process of a 4 day split (called the 10 week mass builder). I am an ecto-hardgainer trying to bulk. Can i just replace my leg day with the breathing squats routine until i am finished with my split? After my split i plan on doing 3x breathing squats. Or would the 4 day split with the breathing squats just be overkill?
