I tried weight gain powders, the Gallon of Milk a Day plan, high carbs, even higher protein. Super HEAVY weights (for me, the "skinny dude"). High sets, reps, and weights. Double-split routines. Tri-sets and Giant sets. I blasted my muscles from every angle, with every rep, weight, and set combination possible. Don't get me wrong. I made some progress. But 5 pounds a year was not enough!

Now, I had read that professional bodybuilders would DIE to gain 5 pounds of solid muscle in a year. But I could not wait 20 years to get to 200!
